Symtavision zeigt in Baden-Baden Tools für die Vorhersage, Optimierung und Verifikation der Echtzeitfähigkeit von Steuergeräten, Vernetzung und E/E-Systemen. The ARTIST2 Network of Excellence is to strengthen European research in Embedded Systems Design. The ARTIST2 workshop on "Timing Analysis in the Industrial Development Process" is co-located with the  "ISOLA Conference" that takes place November 15 to 19 in Paphos, Cyprus.

Symtavision's CTO Kai Richter will give the Friday keynote on "The Autosar Timing Model - Status and Challenges".

The ARTIST2 Network of Excellence is to strengthen European research in Embedded Systems Design but is also actively involved in international cooperations. The ARTIST2 workshop on "Foundations and Applications of Component Based Design" is co-located with the  "Embedded Systems Week". This event takes place October 22 to 27 in Seoul, South Korea., and comprises three conferences: CODES/ISSS, EMSOFT, and CASES.

Key industry players and key scientists will discuss fundamental issues for component based design. Symtavision's CTO Kai Richter has been invited to give an overview talk about "Scheduling Analysis in the Automotive Design Flow" on  Thursday, October, 26th.

The Euromicro Conference on Real- Time Systems (ECRTS) -held in Dresden, Germany, July 4-7- is a forum aimed at covering state-of-the-art research and development in real-time computing. 

On the satellite workshop on real-time networks (RTN) on July 4th, Symtavision's Kai Richter will talk about "Applying Real-Time Network Research in the Automotive Industry: Lessons Learned and Perspectives". In focus is the still existing gap between academia and industry in the area of real-time systems, specifically automotive networks. Key practical issues, such as supply-chain and IP considerations, are discussed in relation to modeling requirements such as data availability and refinement processes.

On July 5th, the talk "A Formal Approach to Multi-Dimensional Sensitivity Analysis of Embedded Real-Time Systems" presents novel applications of the SymTA/S tool suite at 09:00 h in Session I: "Scheduling Analysis I". The paper is authored by Razvan Racu, Arne Hamann and Rolf Ernst from the Institute of Computer an Communication Network Engineering, Technical University Braunschweig, one of Symtavision's key academic partners. At the Real-Time and Embedded Technology and Applications Symposium (RTAS), there will be a joint tutorial entitled "Extensible Frameworks for System-Level Analysis of Real-Time Systems",  featuring Symtavision's leading technology.

Symtavision and the Technical University of Braunschweig have invited two other leading research bodies to contribute their expertise to this tutorial by showing that -and how- SymTA/S can be extended by power optimization and other composable techniques.

The tutorial takes place on Tuesday, April 4, at 08:30. Registration is open to anyone through the symposium website.
