The 4th Symtavision NewsConference on Timing Analysis on September 29 and 30 in Braunschweig was attended by more than 100 delegates. With participants from all over Europe as well as Japan, Korea and Brasil this was in fact a world-wide meeting of leading timing experts from the automotive and avionics industry.

The conference started with a Technical Day in two parallel tracks, one research track organized by the Institute of Computer and Network Engineering at Braunschweig University, and one practice track provided by Symtavision.

In the evening everybody was invited to the old “Kornscheune” for barbecue, music and casual meetings. Some of the bravest even tried bull-riding.

The next day was dedicated to industrial speakers, including presentations from BMW, Daimler, Denso, Embraer, Infineon and Volkswagen.

Outside the plenum Symtavision and their partners Gliwa and AbsInt from the Real-time Experts as well as Elektrobit and aquintos were ready for product presentations and detailed discussions.
